If you understand the basics of the technologies, this is exactly the result you would expect. SSD's will saturate either a USB 3.0/[emailprotected](max theoretical) or SATA2 @3Gbps(Max theoretical) You will only truly see benefit for SSD capability when it is connected to an M.2 connection. SSD's are by nature RAM, meaning it takes the same time to access data irrespective of it's location in the chip(not 100% true, but near enough). Mechanical HDD's are not.The time to access the data varies on where it is stored, due rotation speeds and heads. SSHD only benefit over standard HDD, if the same data is read on several occasions, in which case it gets stored in the SSD cache. All pretty basic stuff.
